Fast fixes (do these first)

  1. Restart everything. Turn the device off, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on. Restart your phone/laptop too.
  2. Check you’re on the right Wi-Fi. Make sure you’re connected to your device Wi-Fi (not a neighbour’s network).
  3. Try another website/app. Sometimes one site is down — test 2–3 sites.

Signal & placement

  • Move the device closer to a window.
  • Keep it away from thick walls and large metal objects.
  • If it’s portable, try another room to see if signal improves.

SIM check

  • Power off the device.
  • Remove and reinsert the SIM (see “Install / remove your SIM”).
  • Power on and wait 2–3 minutes.

If it still doesn’t work

  • Try connecting via a different method (Wi-Fi vs cable if your device supports it).
  • Search this Help Centre for “reset” if you want to do a full reset as a last resort.
